This is my first attempt at a website, so be patient!
A little background:
My name is Fred and I was born and brought up in lovely Bermuda, a collection of islands totalling approximately 21 square miles with a population of around 65,000. We are located at latitude N 32.31 deg. longitude W 64.74 deg. with our closest neighbour being Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, USA about 550 nautical miles to our northwest.
I've always been interested in weather and although we do not have four well defined seasons through the year we do get some interesting changes between summer and "winter". Temperatures in summer generally fall between 75 - 85F and winter 60 - 70F with occasional dips to the low 50's.
I hope to get my weather station info up in the near future but be patient, I am not the most computer literate person! When I was in high school (secondary school to some of us) a portable calculator with basic four functions was the size of two packs of cigarettes laid end to end and a little thicker! You probably guessed, they didn't use lithium-ion batteries!
